Cambria Beach Lodge

The room and bathroom were a good size, and the bed was comfortable. That said, the photos made the place look a bit nicer than it actually is. while generally accurate, it didn’t quite match the feel we expected. Considering the final price (once taxes are added), it felt a bit overpriced considering that it’s Cambria. The location right in front of the ocean might be ideal for those looking to surf or enjoy the beach more directly.

The hotel offered a continental breakfast but we didn't partake, it looked yummy. the parking is a bit tight so if you have a large vehicle, you'll have to park in the front of the property. The room amenities we're really nice: shampoo/conditioner, body wash/handwash/ lotion, LOVED IT! You couldn't ask for a better location, right across the road is moonstone beach! Bring tar remover with you if you go walking on the beach, luckily the hotel had something to remove it. We would absolutely stay here again! I look forward to our next trip!

Staff were excellent at arrival and on checking out. The meeting room in the lobby was very nice with the open fire, great view and sitting area. Our room was comfortable and loved the décor. Little touches like the umbrella on the coat rack were thoughtful. We got lucky though and had perfect weather :) Breakfast, while not expansive in choice was very nice - oatmeal, coffee, juice, fruit, pumpkin loaf. It was ample to get the day started. You really felt like they were were going above and beyond to have you enjoy your stay.

Amazing location, just across the Pacific Ocean. We only stayed one night, but this was such memorable moment of our once-in-a-lifetime trip to California. The staff at reception were so kind and helpful. Loved the vibe, the comfort, the cute beach hut type rooms, the free bikes, the parking right in front of your room (motel style, very exotic for us Europeans), the ultra fast wi-fi (I mean, 150 Mbps? In a hotel? How?).

The style of the property, the position across the road from the beach, the small thoughtful touches such as Grown Alchemist toiletries, the quality of furnishings and friendly woman who worked at reception was super friendly and helpful and the room was spacious. Everything was great!
